Please contact your lender to discuss payment options, including payment deferrals or interest only payments, to best suit your current situation.

The government has provided financial relief programs as a part of the effort to help those impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. Visit the Small Business Administration (SBA) to learn more visit Disaster Loans. More programs are being announced and we will be sure to keep our customers informed.

Watch out for Scams and Fraud

Be aware that scammers are ready to take advantage of the panic surrounding COVID-19. Watch out for email phishing attempts and be on the look out for suspicious emails or texts. Do not click on links or attachments from unknown senders. Always verify if a website is legitimate before sharing sensitive information. Also, if you find yourself working in a different environment, remember to think security and confidentiality.

To ensure the health and safety of our valued customers and employees, we will be taking the following proactive steps in our operation beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

  • All Thumb Bank & Trust Branch lobbies will be open by appointment only.
  • Customers with specific needs can call for an appointment at your preferred branch or call our toll free number (866) 862-3113 for assistance.
  • All Branch Drive Thru facilities will be open to serve your needs during normal business hours.
  • All Thumb Bank ATM Locations are open 24 hours, 7 days a week. 
  • You can access all your accounts through Online or Mobile Banking.
  • Mobile Check Deposit is also available through Mobile Banking.
  • After hours deposits or payments can be deposited at our night drop located at each branch.
  • Debit Cards will be issued as needed by calling (866) 862-3113 for assistance.
  • Online Banking or Debit Card issues can be handled by your preferred branch or call our toll free number at (866) 862-3113 for assistance. 
  • Our Loan Department can be reached by phone or appointment to handle any loan needs or concerns you have. 
  • Trust and Financial Services staff can be reached by phone or appointment.
  • Please visit our website 24/7 for detailed information about all of our services or any other banking information.

Coronavirus - COVID-19 Awareness

March 13, 2020

As concern surrounding the Coronavirus COVID-19 increases, we want you to know that we are closely monitoring the situation and following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to protect the health and safety of our customers and employees.  We are also prepared to implement our business continuity plan in the event we feel it is in the best interest of our customers and employees to adjust how we provide our services.

If you are personally affected by COVID-19, we are here to help.  Contact us at 1-866-862-3113 and we will answer any questions you may have regarding our available assistance programs.

While we remain ready to serve your needs us usual and are taking extra steps in the cleaning of all our locations, we encourage you to take advantage of our electronic banking services, which are available 24/7.  With Online Banking and Mobile Banking you can view your account information, check balances, transfer funds between accounts, and make payments.  With our mobile app, you can deposit checks. We also have a night drop available at all our locations, where deposits and payments can be placed in safe holding until they are processed the next business day. Additionally, we have several ATMs if you wish to withdraw cash.

As we are ramping up our cleaning processes at all of our locations, we are also asking our customers to follow the recommendations of the CDC to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, which can be found at Michigan.gov.
